hey i just bought an 87 rx-7
its a project car that i plan on rebuilding before i go off to college
i have about 7 months so i hope i find some valuable insight from you all.
the car is in pretty decent shape.
the engine has probably been blown and has been sitting for almost a year before i got it in my garage. i drained the oil and it was all sludge and there was a ton of water in it too.
i suspect a major problem or two. most likely need a rebuild and maybe the replacement of a rotor(s) and/or housing(s).(worst case scenario)

im thinking of buying an Atkins rebuild kit. yes/no?
ive heard mixed reviews.

i will also need to replace/fix:
starter
the brake master cylinder
short shifter
center console

future upgrades:
5-lug conversion
coilover suspension
seats
restore finish(decent right now)

well i hope you all can help me out a little bit
