Hello

Hi all,

Long time RX-7 fan and medium term owner (2 or so years) of a 2001 FD import. Been using the site as a reference for many years even before buying and hoping to contribute some cool stuff back to the community.

I bought it from someone who had imported it into the country already, partially didnt want to deal with the process but mostly wanted to be able to see the condition for myself as i didnt want to buy into a project.

Please be aware that after late 1995, Mazda changed the position of the coils and created a new coil harness.

Be careful when anyone changes the plugs, or has reason to disconnect the coil harness.

Failure to hook up the plugs or coil harness in the correct order could result in the fuel charge detonating out of phase.

Causing significant damage.

I fthe car runs very rough after being serviced, this may be the cause.

I do have a few cheap models i picked up in Japan, including an RC red sun initial d model, last time i went but iv been trying to stop now i have the actual car . I really like polar master one because of the red seats (rz / spirit r ones i think) which would be great but i know i dont fit in them.
