I first registered here years ago while looking for my next project car. I wound up buying and turbocharging an E30 instead of an old RX7, but now I'm back, and will be looking for an FD in the near future, after I finish building my turbo E34 wagon DD. I hope to find a stock or mostly stock car to keep stock or mostly stock, or a light to moderately modified one to mod to my tastes, but nothing crazy. I love the clean timeless lines of a stock appearing FD.
My FD arrived today! A bone stock 93 base model. Just this pic for now, it started raining right after I washed it, but it's a good size comparison of it with my E30 at least.
Congratulations on your new Montego Blue FD!! Any more details on the car to share?
Thanks! I'm enjoying it so far. Probably nothing too interesting for an RX-7 board, unless original cars are rare and interesting now. It has the typical black base model interior and 63k miles on the odometer. Haven't had much of a chance to detail it and take nice photos with the summer storms. I currently have a thread about it on r3vlimited, a forum I've been an active member of for years now, and I'll probably post a thread here, but it won't likely be of interest among a sea of incredible builds. I have only basic mods planned such as a catless downpipe, and I'll probably wind up fabricating a SMIC for it. I fabricated my first intercooler for my highly space constrained daily driven turbo E34 wagon project and would much rather do that again than spend what the aftermarket is asking for an SMIC these days.
