Happy to be a member!

Hello y'all
Glad to be posting on this forum for the firs time! I just recently had my second FD delivered to me from South Dakota. The first I owned several years back and my pockets weren't deep enough to get it to where I wanted so I had to sell. The new one is a 93 with a very shotty white paint job (originally red) and it has some front end damage. My brother lives in SD and notified me of an rx7 at an auction site and so I decided to put some bids in. I'm thrilled that I got the winning bid at $7,400 I think I got a pretty good deal considering the previous owner or owners has dumped a bunch of cash into the motor. it has a salvaged title, but I'm alright with that because I'll probably own it for the rest of my life. Don't want another one to get away from me lol

I'll post some pics as soon as I take some!

Unfortunately, I got no info about its history. If I had to guess I think the previous owner set it up as a track car, but I could be wrong. They had it repoed because they stopped making payments on it. Probably because they wrecked it lol.

Here are a couple pics from the auction site. I'll take more when I get home and list parts.

Looks like a very rebuildable car! It will definitely be a fun project to restore!

Can't wait to tear into it! Replaced the starter already and got it started the other day. Really tough to get it started and it won't sit and idle. Need to check injectors and make sure they're not clogged.

Looks like someone tried to tow the car from the front cross member support 😒

Block is painted red and black. Hopefully that means it was rebuilt not to long ago 🤞

Interior is in rough shape

Wastegate!
