CO Happy to join you all here as a new Turbo II owner!

Hi everyone!

My name is Aaron, and I live in the Denver area in Colorado. I've had an eye out for a mostly stock, well running Turbo II for a long time now, and I finally found the one, a black 1988. Traveled across the country to purchase her with less than 100k on the odometer, test drove her and aside from a few little things, she feels almost new. Now, just need to wait for the delivery company to bring her by!

Holy crap. Worth the trip for sure. What are your plans for her?

Just to get everything running perfectly. She needs a new A/C clutch, shifter bushings and a centering spring, and possibly a clutch. But that's it, as far as I can tell. I think the car looks so good stock that I'd like to keep it that way. In the future, if/when an engine rebuild is needed, maybe a few minor modifications to see if I can get up around 200 HP. I'm not looking for tons of speed, though. I'm looking more forward to some nice, tight handling than I am any fast 0-60 times.

That is one clean and perfect TII!! Your plans are spot on in my opinion. There are fewer and fewer unmolested TII's out there and this one deserves to be cherished and enthusiast owned! Do you know any of car's history? Can't wait to see more pics of the car!!

Thanks a lot, I appreciate it. At this point I feel like there are a million cheaper and simpler cars out there that I could go out and buy and modify if I just wanted to go fast. This is a part of automotive history and I consider it a privilege to get to maintain it now.

I know the last 11-12 years of the car's history, which is the previous owner bought it at an auction, kept it garaged, and thinks he's put less than 500 miles on it in that whole time. Carfax says no accidents and a total of three (now four!) owners.
