Greetings and Salutations
Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen, ESPECIALLY the ladies
My name is Tyler " Top Notch, Captain Awesome" Daigle.
My friends call me Thor, and your moms calls me often....
Enough with the formalities. I just picked up a 1986 Mazda Rx-7 NA. In pretty good condition, will post up pictures when i take them. The body is in decent shape, engine is rebuilt by a Mazda Dealer in Victoria, and is well taken care of. My last car before this one (R.I.P), a 1993 240sx with a RB20DET, was where all my time got put in to. This is my first Rotary ever and this is uncharted waters for me. Apparently the car has a K&N CAI, electric fans, small street port, newer clutch (only 2000km), and no cats with 4" pipes on the back 21/4" straight through to head.
Rotaries are a new thing for me so any info you guys provide will be greatly appreciated. The stock engine is supposed to have 146hp, what would i be looking at, considering the small modifications the car has, knowing that its not 146 to the wheels. Also, what parts should be upgraded first for a closer to 200hp figure.
Thanks a lot, great to join this group.
