Thumbs up Greetings from the land of the brave. :D (Scotland!)

Hey guys!My name is Cliff.I have been a member for a while on here but never got round to posting any threads as there are forums closer to home (Scotland, in case you never guessed) for me. This has to have thee best project threads I've seen anywhere though. So as I would like to share my appreciation on said threads, I need to get my post count up so here goes.

ADD ME ON FACEBOOK: Cliff Goldie

VERY quick spec:
Street ported motor with Garrett GT35r single
All lovely supporting mods
A heap of stuff to list which I may do in the near future when I've time!
Nothing game-changing but overall a beast on and off track that scares a lot of "sports cars".

Few pics:

Welcome cliff,
I'm frae Aberdeen( I'm ex-Elgin loon)
Don't have a rotor car atm, still looking for one at any kind of rotor car like rx3,FB, FD or FE.
I used to owned FB.FCSP.FCbp.FC13bp and FC 13pp car and all the engines works done by myself( 20+yrs) .
I saw your rex passed by at oakwood motel last year september, passing my yellow single seater race car at the car park( if you remember saw it)
Very nice black car you got and enjoy your ride.

No wonder mate, she's a beauty! Glad you kept it OEM looking and loving it without the spoiler

That sounds pretty sweet! How's the street port for day to day driving or is it mainly a weekend car? Most importantly how does the street port sound? lol I'm toying with the idea of street porting mine when I get it but i'm not planning on taking it on the track or anything so worried it might be a waste of money. If money/petrol wasn't an issue then no doubt I'd happily get it bridge ported

Just added you on fb mate, think i've got a similar username on fduk and mazdarotaryclub aswell.

A blast in the car sounds epic! Need to get myself down to Crail

Thanks mate. Aye I love the look of early fd's. Just a set of mazda optional extra skirts and RE Amemiya mirrors, lowered a bit. Done.

Yeah the street ports fine, got a nice steady idle but has a nice dipping idle sound when warm. II think a bridgy would be a bit too obnoxious for a road car. I do mainly track this car but it does get used for roadtrips so it's loud enough as it is!

Yeah just give us a shout.

Yea, I think it's far too easy to overdo it but you've kept it clean as hell!

Cheers for the help mate, and the next time i'm going to crail i'll give you a shout - would be awesome seeing this in the flesh!

Good luck man

Thanks! I'm glad near stock looking FD's are getting the credit they deserve! Less is definitely more with these! One of the best looking cars ever manufactured.
