CA Greeting from Cali.

Hello Rotaters,

New user from SoCal here. Somewhat regretfully, I just sold my silver 1987 fc3s turbo with 85k on the chassis and 5k on the engine rebuild. The suspension bushings were completely replaced with dilrin, dual pass koyo radiator, fuel cut defender, hks exhaust with the occasional use of wider downpipe and test pipes, and a bunch of other reliability mods.
The car was pretty fast and a lot of fun to drive through my local touge off the Mulholland highway roads. Unfortunately I had to sell it to fund other projects. Those other projects being my 370z and my First Gen Miata canyon destroyer and track car.
I always wanted to own an FC and I'm so lucky to have had this one. I'm positive the new owner is loving this car right now. Luckily I got top dollar for the Rx7 due to the fact that it is in basically showroom condition. It pretty much completely funded my Miata build.

regards,

Jet

The Turbo II. Looking at these picks gives me a bit of sellers remorse. Can't have it all though.

Here's some of the Miata. I call it the "Derp" Miata because I had been driving it around with a dying motor, but still having a blast. It's currently in the build process getting a new motor as you can see from the photos, and a bunch of other stuff.
The motor being put in is totally fresh and is built with ARP hardware for the eventual boost it will get. (Note the Mini in the background with the B swap. Kinda cool)
Eibach Springs (special rates) and Bilstein shocks.
Flyin Miata Flywheel and clutch.
Blackbird Fabworkz 4 point Roll bar (SCCA & NASA spec) is being fabricated as we speak.

Check this "Boring Drift Vid" of it in action a few weeks ago. Note that it is very wet so the speeds aren't very impressive.

I imagine your Miata will be quite nice with the mods and fresh engine. I have a 2002 and it's pretty stock except for the suspension. The owner before me spent a lot of money and did a lot of work on the suspension. Then he sold it to me and bought a S2000 so he could go faster on the track.
I just got my 1991 RX7 on it's feet again and hope to spiffy it up so I can sell the Miata this summer.
