Red face Gidday

Evening guys,
New to the forum, have been browsing through most of the sub-sections enjoying nearly all submissions of everyone's cars. I must say a lot of work is put into them, I truly admire this.
I'm only 17, 18 in 1 month (December), looking forward to getting my P-plates next may, for which then I can drive around freely
I'm quite intrigued at what this forum has to offer, as I have.. "Admired" RX-7's for some time. Not the technicalities of the car, merely the looks. How ever, I plan on expanding my knowledge in cars all together as I plan on finally getting my very own RX-7 by mid next year.
I am tired of everyone around me saying "You only want a small piece of sh*t car for your first car". How ever, why spend the money on buying, fixing, maintaining a car that you have no care for, it's about as logical as a brick to the face (Not very logical at all).
Why do I want an RX-7 as my first car? Due to the fact my uncle used to own his very own Series 2 I believe, RX-7. Loved the sound it made, loved the sleek style and the power of it.
I'm looking forward to finding my own functional RX-7 very soon, then putting the effort in to... "Jazz" it up to my likings. I must say, there are quite some inspirational cars through out this forum. They've given me quite the idea of what I'd like to do with mine.
Wow, I've gone onto a bit of a rant
Hope to expand my currently lacking knowledge in cars, and make a few friends along the way.

- Ethan.

Oh gosh, forgot a few details about myself,

Plan: Buy, restore a Series 4/6 Mazda RX-7.

Welcome young grasshopper. Some would say your too young to own an FD but if you can afford to take care of it and you drive like an adult, you'll be fine.
