New to this website, just trying to find out more info on my cars. My dad bought me 3 mazda rx7's when I was 12. Now that im 17 im trying to get at least one of them going so I can drive. I have a 1983 gsl rx7, 1985 gsl-se rx7, and a junker 83 rx7 (only for parts). On my 83 im having trouble with the choke/idle. Will start up but wont stay on if I slip the choke in. On my 85 I need to put in a gas tank, but missing some parts. Just a kid trying to find out some knowledge on these cars.

Gabe, you're in a good place. The 83 needs a carb rebuild, more than likely. Have fun as you learn and grow with your fleet.
