First time Rotary owner
Hi All,
Just picked up a fun toy. 1969 Triumph GT6 that was turned into a race/track car some time ago (potentially 15-20 years...) including the addition of a NA 12A and Mazda 4 speed trans. Its a LOUD & fun little beastie. Unfortunately the owner/builder passed some time ago and at least the owner before me doesn't know that much about the specifics other than its a 12A (which he believes was ported) and the 4 speed. Seems to run and handle very well. No idea what the drivetrain came out of. Has a carb and supposedly a new oil metering pump. The install seems pretty tidy to me.
Anyone able to identify what this might be out of? Is the carb stock for the car it was removed from? Any directions to be pointed in for first things to do or check maintenance wise? And lastly anyone good with 12A's in the Los Angeles South Bay area when I get in (too far) over my head?
Had 1 to 8 cyl 2 and 4 stroke vehicles in the past, Rotary has been long overdue. Looking to enjoy the learning curve.
