First time here, Longtime rotary Enthusiest

Ive been working on a race car project for the last year, it is a 1985 RX-7 GSL-SE. Plan is to get the upwards of 1200HP... Long story of how i got my current RX, 5years ago i bought an 84 RX-7 for $500 and ended up putting close to $10,000 worth of parts into her, Ceramic Apex Seals, Scalloped rotors, High flow oil injector, new oil pump, Racing Beat header, Racing beat ported and polished intake manifold, 1050CFM Holley Double Pumper, 4 1/2in down pipe integrated from a cummins and much much more.. Anyways I was in bad financial standings after a while and had to give my car up to pay a housing bill.. For the last four years i have been hoping to own another beautiful first gen and close to a month after I lost my race car I happened to come across an 85 sitting off the highway. I asked the local police if I could take it and was denied, but this last year I found that very same 85 in my local junkyard and instantly took it off their hands. I am remaking my old race car but with fuel injection and turbos this go around.. Looking forward to talking with other Wankel enthusiast.
Thanks

It only needed a new rear end and wiring harness, I actually got it started and running the first week I had it but I want a true race car even more thoroughbred than my last so I stripped it down to a bare shell and started from there. This far it has been painted black with blue accents, bond work is done, the engine is almost rebuilt with new parts including Industrial bolts for a Bomb proofed look, Ive got a thread if you want to follow her progress.. 85 GSL-SE Racecar Build is the title of the thread and it is under the first gen specific build threads.
