Hey everyone, I'm new here, and may still end up not being a full time member. I don't yet own an RX-7, but I'm in a position to buy a friends off of him. I've ridden in it, and it is just plain epic lol. It seemed mechanically sound until the last time he was home with it. In February, he drove it home from Florida with no problems at all. One morning, the snow plows were making their rounds in my neighborhood, so we started his car, and proceeded to move the rest of them. It died after about a minute of idling, and hasn't started since. I've tried everything but taking out the plugs in terms of unflooding it, mainly because it's parked in the street, although I'm going to try that today.

My question is what could have caused it to die, other than being out of gas, and could these potential problems make the asking price of $4000 not a good enough reason to buy it off of him?
