Hi all,

Just bought my first RX-7 (1984) four days ago and have driven it about 50 miles (90 KM) from the point of sale to home. I don't plan on driving it till next summer (and then only in the summer) but do need to get a bit familiar with this type of vehcile. Has a bit of rust on the bottom of the drivers door and on the sunroof. Noticed right away that the steering gear is a bit loose but still need to check it over for other steering related issues before faulting the steering gear (manual steering box). Up to now I have been a fan of Honda Accord, (2-88's & 1-89) although I do have a 1994 Mazda B3000. I'll probably be looking for help on issues once I get into checking it over more thoroughly. I plan to store it under cover with a car cover for the winter with a plastic tarp on the ground to keep the moisture down. I have read postings on this forum concerning storage so have already leared a bit about it. Oh, I live on Vancouver Island, Canada.
