Thumbs up First Rotary and its an FD! (hence the username)

Hey Guys,

I registered to this forum in August when I bought my 1994 RX-7 FD3S R2 Edition pushing out 201rwkw (270rwhp).
It has a few goodies including Trust Pod and Pipe kit, Greddy intercooler kit and elbow, Apexi PFC, Apexi Oil Temp Apexi Oil Pressure and Apexi Water Pressure gauges, Apexi Boost Gauge, Electronic in car boost controller.
Half cage, BC Gold Coilovers (had bilsteins but were way too hard riding for street), set of Spirit R wheels with Dunlop Z Star II (now has Advan SA3R Trispoke on Achilles ATR Sport so I dont ruin the Dunlops).
Possible mild port been done and possible shim to oil feed as i have over 8 Bar oil pressure at 4000rpm.
Feels like it has a short shift however its the 1st Bat i have driven so not sure what the factory shifter is like.

I have been just reading up on the forums checking out mods and builds as well as getting information on what I can do to my bat.

Firstly, here is the baby i bought

Aaand a few necessary changes were made

Set of trispoke advan wheels.

New bumper to get rid of the BMW looking thing that was on it.

And fixed put a new hood cable in so the bonnet latch actually worked.

That is all for now. Keen to do a port on it and single turbo it in time. Was a power house when I got it however over the past month seems to be slower than when I purchased. Thought it was one of 2 things;
1. Boost leak
2. I just got used to the power

Turned out to be number 2 luckily cause I stomped all over a couple of the lads cars a couple of days ago.
Thought they weren't trying but turns out they were flat tack. I left them in the dust.

Very impressed with my first rotary. I plan to make 450rwhp and settle for a while.

Will take photos and upload full build process once i start.

Until then I look forward to joining the community and getting everyone else's input.

Brad
