Hi to every one i have been a member for a lil wile but now i have decided to take a step and make my first post. I purchased a 92 FD with 106km in the mid of may of 2008 After getting the engine rebuilt with a street port and polish upgraded apex seals and an oil modification, at the Rx7 specialties in Calgary and finally received the engine and had room at my buddy Kyles shop Split Decision Motor sports (SDM) here in Vernon we did the swap (ha ha lots of waiting). all went clean and smoothly except DHL lost my master seal kit twice . we did all the proper pre fire ops like pre lube the turbos fill all liquids and check again. once all that jazz was done it was time to fire the beast up. turned the key and herd a nice wop wop wop out the exhaust but no even a bit of a smell of fuel and so we checked to see if the fuel was priming was not getting any spark no ecu has power no! we checked all the wiring no cut or shorting wires luckily we had a spare wiring harness so while i was at my mother wedding down in Vancouver i receive a phone call and the (mighty) mouse is alive all it was was one bad relay just by the drivers right knee so when i return back home to Vernon i go pick up my new car in mid Dec now and jump through the hoops of trying to get it insured in BC and the pain full brake in prossess. now it is mid jan with over 10k on the new engine and already have gone through one of the worst winters we've seen in over 30 years the mouse is hating the cold starts and long worm up time but once he is on dry pavement he loves the cold dense air. let me say even after the long wait and many people telling me to get my money back and thinking many times my self to drop the project i am glad and proud to say i own a FD RX7.

A bit over kill but that is the story of my 7 and i.
I got pics through the whole engine change and of in the first big snow fall too if any one is interested.
