Box-boy

Hey, new to the forum and as of three weeks ago, new to rx7's and rotary engines. Bought a 85 GSL that had been used as a parts car, but barely. Had been sitting for a while and, well, I needed a winter project. So, I've stripped the interior and all body panels. Working on the engine bay and a few other odds and ends. Hopefully will get it to run by the end of the year and street legal by May. Waiting on the DMV for that street legal part, so until then, I wrench away. Look forward to learning from you guys and will be buying parts from a few people too 🙂

Have you gotten yours to run yet? any issues you're running into?

Unfortunately no, not yet. When I bought the car it was missing a carburetor which was made aware to me. I found a local who had one and it's sitting in front of me in pieces, hopefully be rebuilt in a matter of hours. The part that wasn't made aware was the fact that the gas tank is missing, so that's my main concern. After I get the fuel system lined up, shouldn't be but a few odds and ends to piece up. I'll be starting a build thread before too long
