First-Gen E-mail Lister From Way Back...
Greetings! My name is Matt; I haven't been involved with the rotary community for ages but am maybe, possibly trying to rejoin it.
Way back in 1999, I bought an '85 GSL sight-unseen off eBay for $500, and in February 2000, bought another for $300. I combined both to make one "perfect" FB and in the process, really fell in love with the car and the activity of working on cars in general.
Additionally, I was introduced to a lot of fine folks on the first-gen e-mail list (no online forums back then!), such as Jim Rothe, Tim Schuh, Felix Miata and the esteemed David Lane, whose car is and forever will be my favorite FB.
Unfortunately due a combination of circumstances I had to sell my FB in January of 2001, but have never really gotten over it, even as other cars have come and gone.
So I'm considering picking up another. Just wanted to say hello!

Still have, too, and based on a quick glance at the archives it appears to still be active. Old habits die hard, I guess! And yes, lots of good info there.
Thanks for the welcome!
