Hi all. I have owned 2 rx8's. I just recently sold my last 04 rx8 to my daughter ,who is crazy about rotary's. 3 days ago I drove 10 hours to purchase a 1994 fd r2. So far I love it. I am hoping to learn all I can about this unique and thrilling car. I have a lot of questions and I know there is probably a wealth of knowledge on this forum.

It sounds funny to say you upgraded to a car 12 years older, but its true in my opinion.

 

The 7 is definately a different driving experience. My rx8's were smooth and quiet and mild mannered. The RX7 just wants to GO. I went to the dragon at deals gap a few days ago.sure was fun. I love it so far.

I really like the RX8. The only gripe for me was it just needs a little more power. They are smoth,ride good, and handle very well. I have nothing really bad to say about them. I drove the first one 80k miles with no troubles at all.The car now has 130k mi. and still going strong. My second one "which she now also owns" has 56k mi on the clock.. She loves rotaries.

 

just got my first fd not that long ago also, i almost got a rx8 but got a 93 r1 instead.... idk sometimes i think i should have got the rx8 instead lol..... but overall i dont regret it
