CT first drive in my new fc!

after much looking i finally found my fc. i bought an 87 turbo II with 32k original miles on the chasis, the motor has 2k miles and it was built by petit racing. the car has a tilton twin disk clutch, greddy td06 turbo a greddy front mount with hard hoses. greddy turbo timer, profec boost control. hks twin power ignition. i know im forgetting a lot of the other parts for the motor. tokika illuminas(sp?) i forget which springs... i have a parts list somewhere. the car came with a haltech e6a with full harness and a new fuel pump and filter and all. the car is pretty amazing. i took it out for the first time today. the clutch is really something i need to get used to. it grabs right off the floor. other than that, she drives amazing! ive driven rwd cars since i can remember and this car is powerful. i have a 2nd gen mr2 at home and this car totally owns it. truthfully im bordering in between scared and totally stoked about the car. i need to drive it more and get a good feel of the car. i really do love this car. ill post pictures soon

You can adjust at which point the clutch friction point begins.

There's a nut on the clutch pedal rod, up under the dash...the one that goes into the master cylinder thru the firewall. Simply adjust the nut accordingly until you find where you want it. 'tis easy. Just do it.

That's a great looking 2nd Gen! Congrats on the purchase.

I know about being nervous on those first drives...I just picked up my first RX-7 last week too and want to take my time getting to know the car before really stepping on it.

Good luck with the car!

actually i really want to get into it. is there any tracks to just drive around or roads so i can get used to the handling of this car? im located in groton on the sub base.

Riklusion: the tubro timer i have is an older model greddy turbo timer. i also have a greddy electronic valve controller, a boost retard. and the thing in the picture right under my engine bay, its the one on the top. idk what exactly it is but when i rev the car while im driving it lights up green yellow and red. it just slipped my mind of the company that makes it, i was just driving this beast around too!
