Hi all
We have just got a 1983 RX-7 with a bare 12a in it. My son wishes to do it up for his first car.
No specific queries as yet. The car was garaged for 4 yrs at least and was full of rats and their belongings. The clean up has begun.
Fresh fuel and filter, new plugs and it ran. Yippee!

Any helpful hints will be appreciated as we are not mechanics and this is our first car project.

Anyway hi.

Welcome. If anything can be learned frommy mistakes, please figure out exactly what you want the car to be when you are done. Do plenty of research to make an educated decision so you dont double and triple spend on parts like I did.

Thanks

Thank you Ian! Valuable hint, as with father and 2 sons on the project, we had differing ideas.
Keeping it standard and getting it roadworthy is the goal for the moment.
Bloody electric windows, who invented them?????!

Looking through this site has been a very helpful exercise already.
