First car, first rotary
What's up everybody at the RX-7 Club!
My name is Cal (for short). I recently bought a 1990 Mazda RX-7 GXL just before it was about to head into storage for the winter. Spring has just arrived and the snow has melted off, to reveal her beautiful white body
Aside from that, I also own a Jeep Wrangler TJ (hand-me-down). I'm an off road enthusiast.
I'm also a novice mechanic. I'm learning on my own through many resources. I came to this forum to troubleshoot any issues I may come across in the future, when I start fixing up my RX-7.

Soon.. When she's up and running. It's nothing special anyways; just looks like any other stock 7 right out of the dealer. That's how I plan to keep her anyways; no mods. I like 'em vintage
But that can always change! I might get bored and want to try something new on her. We'll just have to wait and see!

Congrats on ur rx! I remember my first rx was an 86 model, also my first car, also self bought. Poor car when through pure hell haha. Im now on my 3rd and planning to buy a couple more. I love the vintage idea and trust me from experience, its best to keep that baby stock and buy a second one to fix up because you will miss it and theres nothing like a factory 7 to grow that rotary passion
