First Car

I’m Zach, I’m 15 and I drive an S5 FC RX7. I picked it up for $3k yesterday and haven’t left my garage since. Hardly any problems with it apart from an idling issue from a cold start. 90k miles on chassis, 60k on the engine. Exterior could use a little bit of work but the interior is immaculate. Already installed a new head unit (spent like three hours wiring it myself as the plug didn’t fit right:/) and have a short shifter and a bunch of other little goodies in the mail. Any tips would be much appreciated, thanks!

Welcome! Any pics of the car to share? As far as tips are concerned, ensure you use the proper oil, do a complete tune up and fluid flush, don't drive it hard when its no up to operating temp, ensure your air pump is in good working order, research premixing and decide if its right for you. Basically, make sure you take good care of the car and it will take care of you!

Awesome! Yes, pictures please.

Man, I kick myself for not pursuing passions that young. Good luck Zach!
