Finally got my hands on a first gen 1979 gs. It's a little rough around the edges but I hope with the help of this forum I can get it at least a bit healthier before I leave for college. Maybe even sell it too, we'll see where this takes me!
Congrats, looks pretty solid. Must have been painted as the only black offered in 79 was Beat Black on the Limited. I'm sure any questions or problems can be addressed here.
