Fc3s owner from australia
Hi guys, been lurking here a few months since I ended up owning an FC3S. Thought it's time I posted and get to know a few people here and see if there are any other Aussies here.
My name is James. Been into Hondas in a big way last 15 years. After a seperation, house sale blah blah sold my Honda collection including my S2000 to start again and get funds for a house. Anyway the whole "I don't need a race car anymore" line lasted oh about 2 weeks.........who was I kidding?!?!?
Long story short, I inherited a 1972 Holden (GM) station wagon with 92000 original km's. WTF would I want with that? It was mint but seriously not my kind of car.
Anyway got talking to a local who said he wanted to buy it. Great I said come around and look at it. Anyway this is what he turned up in.......
He mentioned he was selling this RX7. Anyway 20mins later after finding out it was a 1986 private import, second owner with just 109,000km we had a deal. He took the wagon and I got the RX7. Straight swap.
So I had just bought a house for myself that week but ehh whatever....I had a car to play with again - way more important. Although this time I set myself strict rules. Second hand parts where possible and a really conservative approach to building the base for a fun track car.
So I typed FC3S into Google and started to learn more about the cars and buy some part here and there. And I ended up here.
