Fc Owner From Brisbane, born in NZ !
hi all
owned my fc since last october, on its 2nd engine after the scr engine crapped with dodgey dowles, bad clearancing and jamming apex seals. its got a gt35r with microtech and all the usual engine mods.
i make custom made engine dampers aswell as lift up hood struts for the fc's - ive seen these on some of the us forums made by people - which i honestly think are pretty weak compared to mine, shame i dont sell these for your guys in the USA. i also make adjustable suspensions arms too.
projects for the car currently are, evo brembo swap, pwr 3000cf fan, el falcon 108amp alternator with dual pulley conversion, adjustable arms, coilovers, custom front undertray for cooling, retrim leather seats, lower temp thermostat.

Returner to the fold
Dang! We get hail like that in Texas throughout the spring/early summer months. Occasionally the stones are the size of a softball or maybe a grapefruit, which would be 4-6 inches across for those with no point of reference. (That's somewhere around 10-15 cm for the metric types.)
Congrats on not getting caught out in it with that good looking car!

trying to get it onto the track sometime, once the coilovers are on, suspensions bushes and arms are in it should be right for a wheel alignment and then hit up lakeside.
current projects - getting this el falcon 108 amp alternator on, it must be abit different than other peoples el alts as my dual pulley wont work, it would end up 3mm to far forward and sitting on the thread. so ive drawn up a adapter which will put the pulley in the right spot, incorparate the spacer so its tight on the shaft and also keeps the pulley from spinning.

pics of what another brembo swapper did to avoid the caliper being closer to one side of the disc and pics of a modified fc rear hub to use the rear evo brembos, a rear evo disc with hubcentric ring, all 4 disc compared.

bought these angle eye headlights off psiparts.com.au - big mistake that was. they dont even fit, i had to buff back the plastic so the metal holding ring actually fits on to hold them in place, they also have no high beam fuction because they are now H1 bulbs not H4 - not mentioned anywhere on their site - possably defectable for not having highbeams on a car that was equipped with them. wont be buying off them again - got transcripts of my dealings with them if anyone wants to see em.
my cousin daniels mr2 turbo, which is geting a 1mzfe v6 camry engine installed, oh and it has a trd supercharger. daniels suzuki at "karawhatthe" forest. aarons suzuki - cleary bogged. mark o'briens 366ci chev super sedan - we help this guy and his son every year with setup and matainance - the engine was built in the states, runs on methanol, demon carb, built to race at 9500rpm all night - 820 HP. his son jye owns and runs The Performance Centre in lawnton, has dyno, builds alot of great engines, does head work and performance parts.
id eventually like the car to be repainted in a mazda cx7 colour - radiant ebony or black cherry mice. and thats my girlfriend in the photo below.
