Excited New Turbo Owner
I just bought a 1989 with a custom turbo. This is my second rx-7 and my first turbo vehicle. I'm really excited to learn how to work on it.
My first Rx was an n/a 1988. The electrical system got fried during an engine replacement at the dealer. Needless to say I'm not going back there. That car has a new rebuilt engine in it, but I didn't have the money or knowledge to fix the electrical system, so it's been parked for a few years.
Now that I've got a reliable income I decided to buy a mostly working rx instead of fixing the old one. I bought this beauty on ebay from a very caring owner. The interior is in good condition. I've got some friends who can help with a couple of minor body/paint issues. The biggest issue is learning how to tune the turbo engine and work with the haltech unit.
Here are a couple of pics. I'll be looking around the forum for info, but feel free to drop me a line if you know exactly what I should look at, hehehe.
