Evan Eyring black '94 FD from Long Island

What's up fellow Rotorians!!! After losing emails and passwords and not being on the forum to much, I decided to start fresh.
So here's my story...
I was 15 years old when my dad and I took the trip down to Addicted Performance in TN to look at a "rebuilt" 1994 Mazda RX-7. After a day at the shop and a long, thought out discussion in a local Applebee's, we decided to get the car! I was so happier than I ever could imagine. Able to buy my first car being fortunate enough to have worked with my dad's contruction company for a few years prior to the purchase. My dream car in my hands at such a young age.
I couldn't sleep for the few days the FD was en-route to Long Island. It finally came on a warmer February day. It was a thursday as a matter of fact, and, it didn't start off the trailer. -_- perfect... But on the bright side, I had some time to figure things out and I wanted a project to build in my freshly cleaned garage with my dad. So that's what I got!
After 2 weeks of fustration, bleeding hands, knuckles, and fingers, we finally got the 7 started after figuring out some witing problems. It was an awesome feeling.
Then, it happened... After checking all the vitals, liquid levels and temp.s and a 15 minute warm up, everything checked out to blast down the block and **** everybody off with the (4 inch straight at the time) ear-bleeding 13b. Got on it once and it sounded heavenly. Got on it a second time, not a half mile down the block and all kinds of colored smoke and oil shot out into the street... I'll admit it, I cried. Alot... But hey, being 15 at the time, finally buying my dream car to build with my dad all came crashing down at the blip of a throttle... Kids are crying about there boyfriends of 3 days breaking up with them these days. So I think it's okay. Hahaha
After hours of screaming and discussion, we decided it would be best to just rebuild the motor. My life as a mid-teenager ended that day. 70+ hours a week over the summer, and 25 a week during the school year working contruction again with my dad.(Thank you Hurricane Sandy. Without you, my rx-7 would have gotten sold that day.)
Thanks to Ihor and the team at IRPerformance, I now have an ACTUALLY rebult motor, with a GT35R and supporting mods. Agressive street port, meth, pumps, injectors and everything else that comes along with a sungle turbo swap was made possible by the shop. For the loss of social life for a little more than a year paying back the build, I got an amazing machine. A bond with a hunk of metal I could have never imagined possible happened, and every bead of sweat and every drop of blood was worth what I got out of it. With some extra money from a second job and savings as a small kid, I was able to buy some wheels, a lip kit and a diffuser. There's alot more that goes into the story but that's the jist of it.
Unfortunatly I forgot how to upload pictures to the site so i'll add them to the thread after I figure it out hahaha. If you made it this far and are interested in some pics, I keep my instagram heavily updated with pictures of the car. (@evaneyring)
So thanks for reading my story, and I'm happy to be back on the forums
Finally got around to making a photobucket account so here are some pictures that I promised.
