Delivery Driver FC 10th Anniversary...
Delivery Driver FC 10th Anniversary...
Hello everyone, I am currently looking at a 1988 Mazda RX-7 10th Anniversary to purchase, probably will buy next week. I am a pizza delivery driver and use a 1997 Acura Integra, but recently I've wanted something more my style but not too flashy. I know that the rotary engine has a lot of problems for people who want to just get in and drive. Should I use this car for delivery driving?
(Sorry if this post is in the wrong section, a little new here...)

Quick Answer: No. It is a 30 year old car, it is going to have problems (doesn't matter if it's rotary or not). If I were you, I'd continue delivering pizza with the 97 Integra. The RX-7 would be a weekend car if you have the extra money.
The juice just isn't worth the squeeze on this one. If you buy this car you'll need a contingency plan. Things will inevitably break and cost money and require down-time. I think you should buy the car though.
