David from Montreal!
Hey guys I am David and I am from Montreal Canada. I am a university student in Mechanical Engineering at Concordia University. I have love cars for as long as I can remeber and don't plan on giving up the passion any time soon!
I joind the forum because of my lust for the rx7 and it has only gotten worse. Over the past few years I have dreamed about doing my own project car and in the past few months I decided it was something I had to do or I would seriously regret it on my death bed. So the search began for my project car. After considering cars like s13 (terribly ove r priced here), mk2 supras and other jdm options I found myself back at the rx7. After considering all three generations I decided on the first gen rx7 because I love how light they are, their looks, and the idea of driving a piece of Japanese history along with other reasons. About a week ago I came across a local 1985 GSL for sale. One thing lead to another and now I am buying a 1985 rx7 gsl! Whoooot! The car needs some work but it's in quite good shape for its age. Here is where my story with my rx7 begins
