Dave from Texas

Recently pulled my 81' GSL out from 14 years of barn storage and after a carb clean, new belts, radiator, fuel tank, fluids and tires. It's purring like it did in the 80's. Working a bit on the interior and some minor exterior work, as well as trying to find out why my break fluid keeps leaking out i am ecstatic about driving this car again. I just don't remember it being so hard getting in and out of it!

Glad to find this forum. I'm sure i will have some questions about different stuff in the coming months.

This car was stored with the intention of it being my sons first car. He's 12 now and is pretty excited about helping with the restoration. Hopefully he will care for it and love it as much as i have. I guess we will see...

Great story! I'd consider a new master cylinder as well as new brake lines. Cheap insurance.
