Current V8 owner looking for a change
Hi All,
Thought I would introduce myself and let you all know I'm looking forward to doing a bit of research on FD RX-7's as a possible future project.
A little about my current ride....
HSV VTII Clubsport R8
228/232@112 lift cam
Dart 205 heads
Fast 92mm Throttle Body
Fast 90mm Manifold
1 3/4" headers
100cpi cats
twin 3" exhaust
Underdrive pully
317rwkw
12.6 @ 114mph 1/4 mile on 18 inch street tyres.
Always had a soft spot for RX-7's and would have owned a series 2 RX-7 as a first car if my father didn't find an awesome deal on an MA70 Supra first.
I'll probably have heaps of noob questions and will try to use the search function the best I can.

I had no idea what a HSV VTII Clubsport R8 was until this thread prompted a google search. They seem to be pretty bad ***, you should post some pics of your car!

Thanks for the welcome guys. Just noticed you guys have a fair few restrictions on when I can post. Once I get my post count up I'll post some pics up of my car for those that are interested 
I'm already tring to price up how much a new project will cost me and the RX7 seems like a "cheap" beast to modify. I've been looking at Mazfix's site (Brisbane, Australia) and have noticed they have a 10 sec engine package available for a very resonable price. Was hoping there might be some people on this forum with some experience with Mazfix and their engine combos.
Anyway, I'll have a troll around and see if there are any places I can contribute to try and get my post count up.
