Well, I am here to learn as much as I possibly can about the RX 7. Just an initial look around has me thinking I came to the right place for information as well as the general consensus on swaps; LSx based swaps seem to be recieved well here. At least it's open minded. I plan on owning an RX 7 in the next year, hopefully a good 3rd gen or 2nd gen.

My plans are for an LS3 swap or a pulled LS7 swap, a friends father has been playing with the idea of scrapping the motor in his vette, I'm hoping he does. There are a few platforms I'm looking at for this swap, but my desicion so far has been between the RX 7 and the 300 SX. I love the looks of both vehicles.

Anyway, I currently reside in Botswana; that's in southern centeral Africa for those that don't know. My home and garage is in Wisconsin and I'll be returning in January. The daily driver is a 2005 Scion tC.

The last project car I owned was a '71 Lincoln Continental, unfortunately I was forced to sell it prior to going overseas 3 years ago. I had just broke it down and was looking for parts for a restoration when I had left, hoping I could continue when I returned. Let's just say everyone has their price. My first car I had completed on my own was an '89 OldsMobile Delta 88, convereted to rwd and had dropped the 5.9L of a Jeep Grand Charokee into it. That was just rediculous, I know better now, I was 15 when I started and was 17 when I finished, and it was my first car at that... Horrible first experience. I had helped a friend put a 350 SBC into his S10 a year later. ... Moving on, I don't want to write a book here.
