Canadian REX

I bought my 1984 RX7 GSL 5 speed last year, and put it on the road this spring. I enjoyed it for a couple months while it ran perfect. Now I am trying to resolve a flooding issue since I rebuilt the carb.

You'll be able to seek advice in the Tech sections about your Carb issue..but welcome to the Forum.
There are lots of Guys in your area and the GTA that you should be hooking up with.
Check out the CDN section and say HI!

I tried posting in the Canadian section, but it says I don't have permission. I guess I have to have a bunch more posts?

I live In KITCHENER and have a two-tone red/silver FB. It is mostly stock. I put racing seats and an upgraded stereo in it. I did the "rats nest removal" and have stripped down the stock Nikki a bit. I kept the choke as I want to be able to drive it reliably in the cold until it snows. I will try to pst some questions in the tech sections once I have permission.

My car ran well before the carb rebuild. The accelerator pump was leaking and i decided to do a full rebuild while i was at is. It will start but it runs extremely rich. It will rev up to the redline but it is a slow climb and it has no power. I wave stripped it apart and tried to clean it again, but no luck. Now I am trying to buy a stripped carb off someone in the area, but it is proving VERRRRY hard to meet up with this person.

I am going to start going through the Canadian rotary shops list to see if anyone can help me. In the mean time let me know if there is any one you can recommend.
