buying advise please complete newbie! UK
Hiya!Well i have always wanted an rx7(tbh who hasent!!),i know loads about mr2s and they are all iv had for the last 5years or so and have recently converted my rev3 to have a 3.0 v6!Fancy a change tho and would like some boooost in my life but fancy a change from my mr2's!This is a whole new ball game to me and would appreciate some advise!!Got a few questions to start with if anyone could help i would really appreciate it!
What is the insurance like on them? i am 24 next month and have 5 years no claims, dont mind paying upto £1500
Rotary engine-amazing piece of engineering but what are the servicing intervals/costs like (im an engineer so will be doing it myself if its possible)
Best mk to buy?-not worried about having all the luxury bits more like which has the best engine/suspension setup etc
Weak point to look for/common faults?
Basically i would like to be armed with as much knowledge when i look at one so i dont buy a dog
cheers
matt

welcome.
most of your decision is going to be based on what insurance is going to be like. Get some quotes.
Read the FAQ threads for each generation so you can learn about the cars - and read the Buyer's Guides that are in the FAQs.
