Bryan Coffey from Central Florida
Hello folks,
Just a short note to introduce myself. I am new to roatry, but not to Mazda. I had a Ford Probe (MX-6 clone) that I got over 239k miles on before I sold it in good running condition.
My new project is a sandrail. It is set up as a mid-engine, and the only thing I can (easily) fit is a VW or Subaru flat 4, or a rotary. I picked up an '83 RX-7 for the engine donor, and have been learning about the car.
My bestest buddy Allen is going to be putting a 305 V8 in where the 12a was. Which means I'm going to do it, because I'm a little stronger in that regard than he is. We spent last week pulling the 305 from a Trans-Am, and getting a carburetor and manifold to replace the fuel injection.
