Brand new rotary owner!!

I'm 18 years old and my first car is a 1985 rx-7 gsl. I'm hoping to make some decent power and learn to work on the magical Dorito. Any tips would be much appreciated on what I should do first for reliability and easy power.

I don't have much history. It's 100% stock. 120,000 miles. Super clean. Only one rust spot on the body.

Welcome! Beautiful car. The neighbor had one down the gravel road that sat for years. Wish I could get ahold of it.
