BMW Guy new to the rotary world

Hey guys! New to the rotary world. I traded my MK4 GTI and $800 for this 1990 s5 vert. A good friend of mine has an 87 coupe I used to give him crap about owning but I have taken the leap and got my first rotary car. Hoping I can find good information here and learn a lot so I can fix this thing when it does break down. I am a BMW tech so I can spin a wrench but it sure helps when you know how it works and how to diag it, haha! Here’s some pics of my vert. Working on getting it cosmetically more out together as it runs and drives perfectly (for now). Glad to meet you all!

Welcome!!! Looks like it has a lot of potential! The Vert is pretty ridged for what it is an dhas some really nice features. I love the removable targa section of the top, and the wind blocker with the top down is a really nice feature! Where in Ohio are you from?

I am not the biggest fan of verts but I do like the hardtop part of it. I am just north of Dayton. I am a Michigan transplant so I am not the biggest fan of Ohio, haha! Hoping to move to South Carolina within a few years.
