PA In The Beginning

As the saying goes, "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree."
True to my late father's desire to have nothing beyond his capabilities, I have chosen a 1984 RX7, GSL-SE as my mechanical classroom. I was fortunate in this find as the car has but 41,000 miles, a beautiful body and runs well.
I will tinker slowly, take apart with care and replace with the best.
If there are any "if I had it to do over again" words of wisdom, now's the time.
I would love any anecdotes.
