Hi apparently I have to start here in order to post. My names Cody I'm a rider by heart I stunt my R6 its got all the stunt goodies ) and ride dirt 2 stroke all the WAY!!! but now im getting into the tuners always like rx7's so I picked one up my Rex ( 88 Rx7 conv turbo) about 6 month ago since that time the car has gave me nothing but problems... temp gauge doesn't work...wiring for stereo is just fucked! the slave went.. then the clutch master...fixed that was all good for about a month then it started getting really smokey out the exhaust. I blew the turbo its a garret T04 never owned a turbo car before and man when your turbo goes no point in driving it its just that smokey. I actually had aircare send me letters saying my car was too smokey and to fix it haha. So I did got it rebuilt by a local company. I put it in that was a experience in its self learned a lot from doing it did it all by myself and help from my dad. Then I get the bitch insured drive it for 3 days and crashed it ( had bald tires first rain of the summer boosted it too hard in 3rd gear **** got squirrely and crashed into a truck... lucky i hit him right on the firewall of my car cause i hit him at about 60km my fender and door are toast 2 rims toast tie rod snapped as well. so back in the shop it went I managed to find a parts car for 400$ with everything i needed so i picked that up have it almost ready back for the streets just have to paint the new door and fender and buy some tires. which reminds me why I am here I am about to buy some 17" konigs on craigslist they are 5x114.3 and 5x112 and 205/40R17 and i'm wondering if these would fit the car? or will I need spacers? or the right offset? any help will be great. I cant wait to get it back on the streets miss driving it even though my dad says its a curse and to sell it I think I'm going to keep it.
