TX Barn Fresh 1983 7 sumthing HALP!?

What is it a 83 LE? the guts are a maroon color like I read LE's to be.
The model number is FB331 if that helps.. I bought this ride for nothing more then 1250 after tax n title from a cute 18yearold chick who had her Daddy rebuild and fix up this beast with the full race pipework and a loud ApexI pipe out the back, making the A12 NA motor scream like a pissed off weedeater from hell she said it was 'too much a danger' for her to drive so after a few months I got it off her hands, and after one drive I was hooked, the sound alone was awesome and the fact that the power windows still work sold it for me, No a/c and there a few minor repaint flaws and so far the only underside damage is a scrap/dent in the cat shield that isn't too bad. I changed the oil to 10w30 but seeing as the temps down here in south Texas get to 111* almost everyday I'm thinking a better oil is needed.
I wanna sell it for something with A/c one day but I'm starting to have too much fun racing it around my town and I'd love to just slap on sum Mark I Rear Fenders GTU from Mariah Motorsports as well as there Mariah hatch and style out this lil rad ride with chrome racing tires to really set this whip off, I can't wait to get a real job and toss cash into this everyday race car!

"LE" is just a trim level, Roy. For 1983, the official trim levels were S, GS and GSL, so I'm not sure if you've got a dealership package or my 1983 Mazda brochure is missing some important info.

Nonetheless, congrats on the capture and here's hoping you take care of the beast! I've got a 1983 GS model myself.

Thanks for taking the time to register and welcome aboard to RX-7 Club!
