Back in an RX7
Back in an RX7
My name is Mike. I live in Toronto. I bought a 1988 RX7 NA with 64xxx KMS when i was 20. I sold it a couple years later. I'm now 29 and just bought a 1988 Rx7 Turbo 10th Anniversary with 49xxx KMS. It is in great shape and came with some service records. Here are a couple pics. They are from my cell, sorry they are flipped but you get the idea.
Oh nice. Its a good feeling. I missed this car. My new one came with the original plugs, belts, and fuel filter still of it. Also a tank of weak gasoline. But it came with a few good parts:
New front struts
New exhaust (stock)
New clutch kit (stock)
new back tires.
So far in the week i've had it I've:
installed a new air filter and plugs
Washed and clay bared the entire car
Just finished compounding and waxing the front 1/2 of the car.
I have a new fuel filter, and redline gear oil for the tranny and rear end I will install in the spring.

That's what's up man. I agree it's a good feeling my issue with mine were my 87 (red) was original everything 70k, 3rd apex seal was sticking, so I had to pull the motor out of my other 87 (orange) which is the good motor and I'm about to pull the reds motor here in a day or two and swap. I have yet to drive them only heard them run. Red had real low compression and the orange one was gutted interior and no brakes so I'm just combing the two and what's left I'm rebuilding and throwing it into my 86 (white) and making that a track car. But hey best of luck with yours!
