Back into a rotary again.. couldn't stay away
Just joined the forum after rejoining the rotary world.
Yesterday I picked up my 2nd FD. It's a 1995 Silverstone 5 speed PEP package. One of 34 built for the US. It's a virgin with 48k original miles. Spent a long time looking for one in this condition. It wasn't a pretty day out so I didn't take many pictures. I'll post more when it's nicer out.
My plans for now are to just do a complete tune up and start with some reliability mods. First mods will be a down pipe and boost gauge.
My first FD I had from 2003 to 2007. A 93 VR Touring. Bought it with 28k miles and sold it with 48k miles. Was in college at the time and couldn't afford to keep it. Now that I'm a grown up, I figured it was time to join the rotary addiction/money pit again. Here are some pictures of my old FD.
And the car that I recently sold to buy my 2nd FD. I liked it, but it wasn't a suitable replacement.

Thanks guys.
Nerrzy, the AP2 was a great car and I loved it. It was nice having the convertible and it felt like I was getting into a go kart every time I drove it. I would even say that it matches, if not a little better than, the RX-7's handling stock for stock.
However, the S2000 lacked the low end torque and fun factor of the RX-7's sequential turbos offer. It was a high revving engine, but still didn't match the smoothness and power delivery of a turbo rotary. And then there's the rareness and beauty of the RX-7 as well. To me, when I got into the S2000 I felt like I was getting into a sports car but when I get into the RX-7 I feel like I'm getting into a super car. Don't get me wrong, my love for Hondas is almost equal to my love of rotary engines. But I'd pick the RX-7 every time. It might be a tougher decision if you throw a turbo charger on the S2K though since it's a convertible and they love boost.

Very nice collection you've had. S2000s are very fun but you have to be way up in the RPMs to go anywhere. I own a 350z as well as a FD, and I enjoy the rx7 way more.

Thanks guys! I live Durham. The Rx-7 is in great condition.
The S2000 was a really fun car to drive. It wasn't quite as bad in the lower rpm once I added a test pipe, 3" exhaust, longer 3.5" intake and lowered vtec. But still nothing compared to the FD.

For the NC RX-7 crowd - I've got my 85 GSL-SE sitting in Burgaw. The engine is no good and I need help with finding a replacement. Do you all know of anyone in NC that might have a decent 13b from 84 to 85 sitting around? Thanks
