let alone when the real build starts and its all $$$$$ and time.
if you can do it, more power to ya.
listen i’ve been working on cars since i was 4

LMFAO!

Good luck whittling a 20b crank with your pocket knife.

You’ll have better luck selling cookies to fund it, I’ll take some thin mints. You’ll need to sell at least 1,000 boxes for just the crank, I’m sure we would all chip in?

Hands up if you want a box! 🤚

This feels like the barber shop scene in Gran Torino. At least offer the guy some vice grips or duct tape.

The bigger problem I think if it comes out like the car above is proper weight distribution. He’s gonna need to move the engine farther back to make it handle well.

Listen, he's been doing this since he was 4. He knows about handling dynamics, suspension geometry, proper gusseting and strength, torsional rigidity, etc.

Ya'll have fallen for some good bait. This kid is obviously trolling. Nice job OP.

Just need @KansasCityREPU and @73rx313b to weigh in, the whole political forum might actually agree on something together.

I say stick with an S4 turbo because of support. Get the experience then think about a three or four rotor after working the chassis bug out.

I'm pretty sure he's gone now lol.
I think it's pretty bad advice to encourage this project though. It's not going to work on so many levels.

Hey man you can't be saying that around here. Rotary is unbeatable.

Putting an Integra body on a Subaru shell will probably be close to impossible to register legally, insure, etc. Skip that part if you want to have an actual car.

If you already have the Teggy, K swap that. Good project, lots of support, easy to sell when you're done. This is something you can actually finish, will be fun, can be registered and insured. $5-10k

If you already have the Subaru, K swap that. Will likely cost a ton and needs a big turbo to be worthwhile. This would be sweet, but unlikely to get finished. $10-50k.

RWD Tesla swap into a Teggy. Go do it, **** people off, save gas money. Would be hilarious. Use the whole Tesla rear subframe, suspension etc to make it easier. This is the way of the future, and is something you can put on your resume to help you get into college, get a technical job etc.

Probably gonna use the motor the car came with? Seems like a pretty legit and cost effective project.

Well seeing as you're a young kid, I wish you the best of luck, and I hope you don't destroy your financial future trying to build something that can't be legally driven.
