TX To anyone that can help this newb....

Im trying to swap an s5 tll into my 85 se. I've got all the mounting and fitting issues figured out and prepared. And now Im on the wiring... n Ive been reading through posts and downloaded both 91' tll and 85 se manuals and cant seem to figure out what wires I need to change over. I know there is a front harness, an engine harness and the dash harness. This is what I have and am trying to work it with: I have the tll ecu em harness that has two connectors going into the ecu, the small plug in the middle and the largest plug on the left. I have the medium sized 22 pin plug that goes on the right of the ecu but its been cut. I spent some time in the fsm and managed to identify all 22 pins on the plug and labeled them. Now have no idea what to do with that... I only have the se front and dash harnesses and am trying to only use those if possible. I know that the engine sensors send info to the dash indicators. But does that info come from the computer? If so, how do i tie them into the ecu? Im assuming that all the electrical components on the body, seat belt sensor, int lights, dash switches, headlights, so on, so on, opperate outside the ecu, alone, and can opperate even without the ecu. Is that right? Im so lost. I wish there was a step by step somewhere, lol. If you can help me get through this I'd be very thankful.....
