How’s it going everyone. I’ve been a lurker for a long time, since I’ve always wanted an FD and FC. Those two cars are my absolute dream cars, id take them over any super car for sure.
My first car was a 91 Prelude which I still have. I’d bought a VA WRX recently with my other half. But my heart had always belonged to the FD3S. In my daily skim through Craigslist I came across a relatively cheap FD, the aesthetics were completely beat, it’s missing things you take for granted in any other car (window switches, combination switch unit, threaded nut missing on the floor for seat bolt, etc.). I don’t think anyone wants to read the long list of problems with this car in an intro, and so long story short, I couldn’t bring myself to forget about it. I ended up buying it, my own, endearingly ugly little FD.
I have huge plans for this car, I do plan to post about it and document the build, even if most of it won’t be very exciting. I haven’t been a forum poster in quite a long time so I apologize in advance for any mistakes! I look forward to learning from you guys and hopefully contribute eventually as well.
