FL Another FD comes out of garage

Hi, newbie here.
Saw an FD first time auto show 1993, thought it was so cool. Priced them the next day, picked up my first 1993 FD Touring days later. Was a daily driver. Stolen in 1996 I was ok without one for 10 years, then saw one on street in 2006, same reaction as at auto show, I gottta get that car. Found my same model year 93 FD Touring in MontBlue on ebay with 35K miles , drove it home and other than driving it 1K miles first few months, it has sat in garage up to 2 years at a time past 7 years. I've been afraid to park on street and have it stolen.

Finally I get an ultimatum from my wife, use it or get rid of it. A friend said no way you want to crank it with oil sitting for 2-3 years. So after purchases of lift, racks and some tools, I changed oil and filter on a car last night for first time in my 55 life. (did my research here on the oil and getting car up, rather than post away). I put in new battery. I tried to siphon gas, that tasted like sh.. Started her this morning, cranked right up. Some electrical issues, I'll research it on here for a while before asking you guys.

Nice to see there is a group like this, thanks to you all.
Dan
