Another CA-NEWB-ian from the great white north...
Hi folks, Mo from Toronto, Canada here...
About a year and a half ago, I (finally) got an RX. It's a 1987 T2 with only 48000 miles on it (was parked indoors for over 10 years). Very clean, no rust underneath at all. That said, I still ended up replacing or rebuilding a LOT of it. Now I wanted to keep the car stock - but...
What I ended up changing so far:
- starter, battery, wipers, fluids, plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter
(then, gasp)
- exhaust (racing beat 3" with Rtek 1.5)
- shocks and springs - tokico blue/eibach
- a/c condensor and receiver/dryer - ac works!
- most sensors - o2, CTS, TPS, lower rad - added an AEM wideband and STRI boost gauge
- then I founded a coolant leak and instead of rebuilding the motor (was a chipped front plate) put an s5 in it (hybrid with s4)
- 255lph walbro fuel pump
So much for stock. It's a labor of love I suppose - but I wanted this car for almost 25 years!

Mo, keeping it stock is so very, very hard with these cars...you always want just a little bit more for whatever reason. Glad to see you're happy with your acquisition.
