Amanda here, first time rotary owner with a FB upstate NY
I've got a mechanical background, my first degree is in automotive technology, worked for a dealer for awhile before joining the Army. Now I'm a commercial HVAC service tech so I'm still living the hands dirty life. I've never owned any vehicle with a rotary engine, I ended up buying a clean 85 from a family member (which is rare in the Salt belt). However the poor car was cursed with an automatic. I'm starting to look into what my best options are for a manual swap and getting some more getup under her. Any tips or recommendations would be helpful. Thank you.

Welcome!! Appears to be a very nice FB! The comor is called Custom Silver Metallic, and is an it model year only color. My favorite color in an FB to be honest. Would love see more pictures of the car when you are able to take them!! I did a writeup on an automatic to manual transmission conversion here on the forum. I can always send you the link if you'd like.
