Hey everyone, name's josh. i recently purchased a bastard of an 87 na fc. its a little beat up. but someone, somewhere in its life decided to help it out a bit. i bought it for a 1k from this guy that thought it was a 4 banger. Turns out its had a new engine dropped in, 5 lug conversion with the big brakes, lsd differential, various interior pieces out of a nicer, newer car. oh yea and one new passenger door with a power window... Chassis has 250k on it, but it rides well, minus the hesitation and bogging in transfer between primaries and secondaries that recently developed, but it is slightly intermittent. at times it will run beautifully. I've checked the in tank filter, run fuel system cleaner through it, tested all injectors, replaced primaries, can't figure out what the problem is, if you have any ideas please feel free to voice them. thanks everyone, its actually not nearly as clean as it looks, its got some body damage, and most of the clear coat is gone, but im fixing up the trim and the interior. Overall it aint bad at all though. the wheels make it look good.

 

Yeah the pictures make it look better than what you said. I was reading it over and then scrolled down to the pics and was like ... thats not that beat up...

its amazing what you can do when you take a picture from the right angle, yea the hood has a big *** dent in it and the front driver side fender is pushed in by the headlight. plus there is surface rust specks everywhere... : (

 

lol pictures do lie. But it really isn't that bad of a car for the price. Good luck on makeing it a sexy beast!!

Yeah, he's a good friend of mine. The car is a little rough, but alot better than alot of the local FC's. However, it looks KILLER going down the road for some odd reason.
